About me.

Three white stars on a red background marked me a "Haupthelfer" of the Austrian Red Cross. I wore the crimson uniform of the paramedics for more than five years. No other period in my life has bombarded me with so much joy, sorrow, fun, exhaustion, excitement, anger, and pride. Sometimes all of it in just one day. Working with patients and their relatives, doctors, pharmacists, and colleagues fascinated me from the start, especially the aspect of communication. Because as much as the talks with the various parties differ, they are united under three elementary points: all communication in the medical field must be complete, accurate and neutral. With flashing blue lights in emergency situations, there is no time for ambiguity or verbosity. And there is no space for it in the case documentation afterwards either, as I learned quickly.

I realized countless other things during this time, and here are the two most important ones:

  • Always carry an extra pair of gloves in your bag.

  • Listening is more important than talking.

When I started studying chemistry, I took off my uniform and considered that chapter of my life to be closed. Nine years later I was a PhD richer and, I thought, wiser. Ready for life in the lab with beakers, stills and chromatography columns. But before that, my girlfriend at the time, now my wife, and I wanted to broaden our horizons with a stay abroad.

Ireland was an obvious choice because of the language, and I didn't think we would stay longer than a year. I got a job in the medical information department of an international pharmaceutical company. And when I answered the phone for the first time after my training, all of a sudden I was “Haupthelfer” Manuel Zoidl again – and I loved it!

I swapped the uniform for "business casual” and the one year we had planned turned into four, during which I held different positions in the field of medical communication.

My path led me to self-employment, so today I can help you take your medical communication to the next level. My company and everything I do are based on integrity, quality, and a focus on the essentials.

Let's work together to transform the medical communication of your company from a legal necessity into a bulwark of scientific expertise for enthusiastic customers.
